'Lorna is a very easy to talk to person. I approached her about an issue i have and immediately she was there to listen, advise and then help. And not only help, but help quickly, with care and understanding. She oozes confidentiality and care and you know straight away that she is listening and wanting to help. Would recommend her without a doubt to anyone with issues to do with sexual health or abuse. She's a star.'

'I came to see Lorna after seeing an article that was written about her company and how they raise awareness for employers to help people who have previously been affected by sexual abuse.
I wanted to meet Lorna to see what was available to me in terms of dealing with my past because I feel at times that I really struggle to deal with it and it affects me in my daily life.
Lorna was so reassuring, so easy to speak to and I immediately felt comfortable opening up to her.She explained the processes of the help that I could get and even what would happen with courts and police if I decided to go down that route. She made the process sound much less scary than I'd ever imagined it.
Lorna is a great asset our community, employers need to understand the complex emotional issues that people who have suffered abuse can encounter and understand how to support them.I'm thankful that there is someone out there raising awareness for this'

'I can't express enough how much you helped me to let me know what my options were. After chatting to Lorna there was no pressure, just information and guidance on where I could go and what my options were. Thanks to L&D Training I felt supported to talk to the police and be able to start my recovery.'

'Sexual abuse isn't a subject I'm comfortable discussing, but when I heard how many people are affected, and the impact it could have on employees' well-being and productivity, I knew I had to engage with it. Lorna made us all feel at ease straight away, and gave us really practical ways to support colleagues who might be victims of sexual abuse - without feeling as if we have to solve everyone's problems.'
